We are joyful to be part of the campaign of letters, emails, and voices encouraging Richmond City Council to vote YES on renaming the Boulevard to Arthur Ashe Boulevard. This being the third attempt to rename Boulevard and honor the international sports champion and human rights activist who was a native son of Richmond, we'll consider this time "charmed" and overdue. We hope to keep on lifting up examples of excellence in the greater Richmond region not only to honor them, but light the way for our youth coming up next.
